Whenever I tune into the news on a daily basis, the first thought that graces the grey matter housed in my oversized brain bucket is that at some point in my life, I managed to slip into a rip in the fabric of reality and entered an alternate universe.
There’s just simply no way I actually live in a world where men gleefully claim to be ladies — despite the rock solid DNA evidence to the contrary — and where it’s totally acceptable to “self-identify” as a cat.
It’s a nightmare, right? Just some sort of dream, and I’m going to wake up any moment and laugh until the tears come rolling down my cheeks.
Unfortunately, this actually is reality and it doesn’t look like our morally bankrupt nation is going to wake up any time soon, though I’m far from giving up hope.
The latest insanity to come rolling out of this twisted culture of ours comes from “Teen Vogue” magazine, which continues to attempt to normalize all sorts of sexual deviance.
And, before anyone calls me a “prude” — this actually happened recently and I chuckled till I almost wet my drawers — I’m not in anyway against sex, nor is any true, Bible believing Christian. God created sex, it’s good. Very good. But it’s dangerous to individuals and society when sex isn’t done God’s way.
There’s plenty of sexual imagery — rather graphic too — in the Bible that demonstrates the above mentioned points. Just read Ezekiel 23 or the Song of Solomon. You’ll see what I mean.
The magazine is promoting the current “gender fluid nonbinary” nonsense being pushed by progressives in our culture, which is desperately searching for a new pet cause to latch on to.
According to the publication, it’s totally okay to deny your sexual identity, because you can fall in love with spirits.
Now hold on. Is anyone else confused here? Aren’t these the same people who believe in Darwinian evolution, deny the existence of God and the afterlife? That’s the default progressive position, right?
If that is indeed the case, how can they sit here and claim that you can fall in love with a person’s “spirit?” Oh is this their fancy talk for personality? What is personality? What is consciousness?
Just the very beginning of the nonsense this magazine posts brings up a slew of metaphysical discussion points that liberals can’t account for without borrowing from the Christian worldview.
Anyway, the insanity continues.

While some people may choose to label their sexual orientation, others don’t feel any category suits them. Shay Mitchell, whose Pretty Little Liars character Emily gets engaged to another woman, says she falls into the latter category.
“People always ask me, ‘You play a gay character? Are you gay? Are you straight? Are you this? Are you that?'” she told Maxim. “Look, Emily doesn’t label herself, and I don’t label myself either. I fall in love with the spirit of somebody. Love is love, and that’s something that I’ll keep saying.”
Shay is one of many celebrities who have chosen not to label their sexuality. Kristen Stewart told Variety last year that she felt pressure to identify with a sexual orientation so she didn’t “seem fearful,” but “nothing seemed appropriate.” Demi Lovato similarly told People that to her, attraction is “just about a connection with someone,” not their gender.
Well, of course we don’t just fall in love with someone because of their gender. Yes, they are a whole person and therefore, just having the right equipment so to speak isn’t all it takes to fall in love with a person.
However, being involved with someone of the same sex isn’t natural, nor is it God’s original design for humanity, no matter how hard someone might wish it to be.
That’s guaranteed to make some folks angry, and I totally get why, but no matter what, the truth remains.
The kind of worldview being shoved on impressionable young minds in Teen Vogue is one where absolute truth, right and wrong, do not exist. It’s an anything goes, indulge your deepest fantasies, if it feels good, do it kind of mentality, and this is extremely dangerous.
Such a line of thinking leads to all sorts of dangerous, risk-taking that spreads diseases and leaves broken hearts and mental illness and confusion in its wake.
Life as a teenager is already confusing. Most kids this age don’t even know what they want to be when they grow up, who they want to take to the prom. They hardly possess the maturity to make a huge, life altering decision like suddenly denying their biological gender and sexuality in favor of what’s trendy on MTV.
It’s not at all surprising to see this sort of gobbledygook coming from this particular publication.
This is the same magazine that suggested kids put sex toys, lubricant, and condoms on their “back to school shopping” lists and encouraged young teenage girls to masturbate to reduce stress.
If you’re a parent who truly loves your kid, please don’t put this flaming pile of garbage in front of your kids. It’s not even worth being bathroom reading material, if you catch my drift.
