“Just like you cannot wear a swastika to school, you cannot wear ‘Make America Great Again’ like that,” Lyn Orletsky told two students wearing pro-Trump shirts to school.

In the classroom, multiple students are heard showing displeasure with the teacher for kicking the two students out of class, as she claimed that “Make America Great Again” it is a neo-nazi slogan. (video below)

Orletsky is a math teacher at River Ridge High School in Woodstock, Georgia, and has received multiple bad ratings on an online website for students and parents to rank teachers.

For example:

“She is crazy, sexist towards guys and hates freshman.”

“Class is based off Game of Thrones.”

“Wish she would be more helpful to her students. I am very glad that my child will not have any other classes with her.”

These quotes are not coming from the last few weeks since the incident, they are actually from as far back as 2012. However, her current students seem to also feel the same way:

“poor leadership and judgment skills.”

“Just terrible teaching.”

And it doesn’t stop with students and parents. Teachers also have the chance to rate their co-workers on this website, and Orletsky received a 2/5 rating (school average being 4.5).

Since Orletsky’s attack on students’ free speech, the school board district has softly responded in a written statement: “Her actions were wrong, as the “Make America Great Again” shirts worn by the students are not a violation of our School District dress code. The teacher additionally — and inappropriately — shared her personal opinion about the campaign slogan during class.”

The school board has declined to comment on any actions against Orletsky, as other school districts have in the past who have dealt with similar issues.

What undoubtedly will not change is the public humiliation for supporters of our President. While the other side of the aisle preaches diversity and inclusion, where is that in regards to opinion? When a conservative gives their opinion on pressing matters, the left jumps to attack and talk about diversity and love, yet with every bit of their actions, they do not exhibit it.

Real diversity does not come from skin color or ethnicity. These are merely parts of a much bigger definition. Where you find real diversity is in the ability to discuss opinion without judgment or harassment.

Stay political, my friends.
