If you’ve been paying attention to social media lately, you’re likely well aware that a war of words has broken out between North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and President Trump.

And if I’m being quite honest, some of Trump’s responses — while maybe not very professional and classy — are pretty darn hilarious.

However, it seems everyone’s favorite Communist regime is not at all happy with the former real estate mogul turned president. How would I know this?

Because they have apparently sentenced him to death.

From The Daily Wire:

An op-ed in the North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmun stated:

He should know that he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people. He will be forced to pay dearly for his blasphemy any moment … The Korean people will regard the face of Trump as a symbol of wolf-like U.S. imperialism and as a target of merciless retaliation and send him to the hell he likes so much to tout.

Last Saturday, North Korea’s foreign ministry released an official statement saying,”Reckless remarks by an old lunatic like Trump will never scare us or stop our advance.” Trump responded:

That followed Trump’s warning against Pyongyang’s nuclear aggression when he spoke to South Korea’s legislative body, asserting, “All responsible nations must join forces to isolate the brutal regime. You cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept. We will not allow American cities to be threatened with destruction. We will not be intimidated. And we will not let the worst atrocities in history be repeated here, on this ground we fought and died so hard to secure.”

In September, Trump threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea when he spoke at the United Nations.

I’m sure the president is just absolutely terrified, quaking in his boots, shaking in his underoos, ect.

Not really. Kim Jong Un is a blowhard. So much so that if you look up the definition in the dictionary, there’s his photograph. You can tell it’s him because it looks like a lawnmower was unleashed on the poor guy’s skull.

Anyway, while this is a bit on the comical side, hopefully diplomacy is not yet completely off the table between the two nations. No one wants to have to go to war, though if we do, you can guarantee the U.S. will handle themselves just fine over there.

Let’s hope this situation doesn’t come to that.
