Kate Harding, a feminist writer for the Washington Post, decided to write a piece weighing in on the Sen. Al Franken’s sexual harassment ordeal that hit the media yesterday, and her take is pretty much exactly what you expect from hypocrites on the left.

Ever since allegations have been raised against Judge Roy Moore, the left has been demanding he step down from his senate campaign and more or less end his career in public service, even though none of the allegations have yet been proven true, nor has the man stood trial for anything.

Now, you’d think since a similar situation has arisen on the left, they would be consistent in calling for Franken to step down from his post in the Senate. You know, consistently applying their worldview across the board.

Nope. In fact, according to Harding, Franken shouldn’t resign because he’s a Democrat. Yes, this man gets a pass on his conduct because he’s a member of the Democratic Party.

via Daily Caller:

Harding, the author of “Nasty Women: Feminism, Resistance, and Revolution in Trump’s America” admitted that having Democratic abusers resign would be harmful to her own political goals, and thus those sexual assaulters and harassers should be forgiven. Franken is accused of forcibly kissing a woman and there is a photo of him groping her while she is sleeping.

She argues that there are probably other Democrats who have committed sexual misconduct, so “if we set this precedent in the interest of demonstrating our party’s solidarity with harassed and abused women, we’re only going to drain the swamp of people who, however flawed, still regularly vote to protect women’s rights and freedoms.”

“I’m betting that there will be more. And more after that,” she writes. “And they won’t all come from states with Democratic governors and a deep bench of progressive replacements. Some will, if ousted, have their successors chosen by Republicans.”

Harding also claims that ousting Democrats who are abusers will only harm women in the future because there will be less “champion[s] for women’s rights” in Congress.

This woman is completely out of her gourd. She seriously wants men who objectify women, abuse them and harass them to be “champions of women’s rights?” Seriously?

Does she not hear the stupidity in her own argument here? If you’re going to demand folks on the right step down for sexual assault and harassment, you better hold your own party to the same standard.

It’s quite clear Harding isn’t a person who stands on principle, not even the ones she claims to believe in, otherwise such a suggestion would be out of the question.

This is just exposing the lunacy of liberal thinking even further.
