You’d think with all of the nuttiness encountered on a daily basis in 21st century America, that surely nothing is left on the planet that could possibly shock or surprise a modern audience.

Apparently the left sees such a statement as a challenge they gladly accept, telling those nearby to “hold their beer,” as they prepare to take the concept of crazy to whole new heights.

So what, exactly, are those lovable loons up to now you ask? Why, allowing a man dressed as a demonic drag queen to come to the library for story hour and read a sick and twisted book about crossdressing to little kids.

There’s just no words.

via TheBlaze:

A drag queen, wearing five red-tipped, demon-like horns, read to children at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library in Long Beach, California, on Saturday as part of LGBTQ History Month.

Following his Drag Queen Story Hour gig, Xochi Mochi posted an Instagram photo of him reading to kids at the public library, calling it “one of the best experiences I’ve been given as a drag queen.”

“It’s so important to have representation and normalize all the letters in LGBTQIA+ in everyday lives,” Mochi said. “I saw so many excited faces it filled my heart with so much joy and hope to come back again soon! Thanks again to everybody who made this opportunity a reality and make such a successful LGBT event …”

At least one person wasn’t too thrilled with Drag Queen Story Hour: Omar Navarro, a Republican congressional candidate aiming to defeat outspoken Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters in the 43rd District, KCBS-TV reported.

Navarro asked, “What are we teaching kids in school? Demonic teachings alive in Long Beach. I’m outraged they would allow this.”

While a number of parents voiced their disapproval of the move by the library, one particular group of folks were just simply tickled pink by the whole thing:

The Church of Satan.

Big shock there, right?

This wackiness is the kind of world the left wants to create en masse, where mental illness is celebrated rather than treated, and children are exposed to demonic crossdressers. You know, the phrase “demonic crossdressers” seems a bit redundant now that I think about it.

Children shouldn’t be exposed to this at the local library, and one has to wonder how much advanced notice parents received, if any, before this event took place.

If there was little to no advance notice, well, that means this institution is seeking to undermine parents and the values they might be instilling in their children by indoctrinating them with this nonsense.

Doesn’t all of this just make you long for the simpler years?
