One of the many things that makes our nation so unique in its place in history is that it was founded on Christian principles directly taken from Scripture, enabling a moral people who understand freedom to thrive and succeed despite the odds saying otherwise.

Unfortunately, thanks in large part to radical leftists adopting a humanistic worldview, our country has strayed far, far away from its roots, a move that has led to rampant immorality with the natural consequence of such action being a loss of liberty and economic prosperity.

God gave the world Ten Commandments to live by in their personal lives and government, the ultimate standard of objective justice, right and wrong. One of these laws or commandments is “You shall not murder.” Seems pretty cut and dry, right? Who in their right mind would support murder?

No one. Unless the victim is an unborn baby. Abortion is a scourge on America, as no nation that kills its children, sacrificing them on the altar of convenience deserves the blessings of God. Indeed, a nation who does not repent of such behavior will face judgment. That’s a guarantee.

As if ripping your kid apart in the womb isn’t already horrifying enough, now the state of Missouri is actually partnering with a satanist to help in the pro-abortion fight.

Truly sickening.

From Truth Revolt:

Previously renowned as the home of Mark Twain, the Pony Express, and the Gateway Arch, Missouri is headed for a new and very different claim to fame: partnering with Satanists to expand abortion.

However, last year the Supreme Court overturned similar restrictions in Texas, which set a legal precedent. In addition, a federal judge ruled on the side of Planned Parenthood in April, which removed two restrictions in Missouri.

Now, in addition to Planned Parenthood, four abortion clinics are moving into the state, and expansion is set to provide abortion services in St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, Joplin, and Springfield.

As the clinics move forward in light of decreasing restrictions, they are being bolstered by a startling but not-altogether-unlikely ally: Satanism. On Monday, the Satanic Temple in Missouri argued in state court that current abortion restrictions violate the free practice of religion. The temple is challenging two laws: one which requires patients to look at information which opposes abortion, and one stipulating a 72-hour period between a consultation and the actual abortion.

The Satanist at the center of the suit claims the laws placed a “substantial burden” on her by forcing her to face information indicating that abortion “will terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being.” State and federal suits were filed in 2015, with the federal case being tossed in 2016 due to the fact that the plaintiff was no longer pregnant.

This is just plain disgusting, and one more reason why Christians need to begin truly praying for this country and sharing the gospel with the people in their families, neighborhoods, and communities, because that is the only remedy for this assault on the pre-born.

Believers need to be proactive, protesting outside of baby murder mills, sharing the gospel in love, pleading for the lives of these children, and even offering to adopt or help mothers in need. We need to be the hands and feet of Jesus, not just angry people shouting lectures.

A church in Arizona, called Apologia Church, has been involved in an abortion ministry for quite some time now, saving countless children from the slaughterhouse of Planned Parenthood. They have a super strong social media presence that has allowed them to partner with other churches who also have started these kind of ministries.

This, my fellow believers, is the work we need to be more involved in, the work we cannot stop until abortion is banned and criminalized.

If a nation isn’t willing to protect it’s weakest and most vulnerable citizens, there’s no way it can survive as a free society.
